,Real name; Marjan Andele
It was a horrific, ritual-like death in the middle of the night.

It has been reported how he stormed inside the woman's room at around 3am. Her man was not around.
She slept with her room half-closed as she never expected an attack from inside the house.
Her first thought was that the young lad wanted to rape her. She wanted to talk him out of it but the lad had other ideas. He told her that he wanted the blood of her young daughter.

In the scuffle that ensued, he stabbed the woman and took the young girl from her mothers arms.
Here he poses with girl who he'd later kill in a bizarre murder

Before leaving the room, he took the woman's phone and dragged the mortified girl to his room.
In his room, the report goes, he broke the girls head and drank her blood. All the while, he was calling on the mother to say goodbye to her daughter.

After the horrid act, he ran out of the house and got out of the estate via the fence. He was arrested the following day and he awaits trial.

A trip to his Instagram shows a few posts that he had made in reference to the girl. He used to call her his little friend.

Types Of ‘Mboches’ You’re Sure To Meet In Kenyan Homes

Most Kenyan homes have maids, popularly known as mboches. These are the women that help the homeowners with household chores and taking care of the children.

Interestingly, they all have different characters. Among the thousands of mboches in residential homes, you will find these seven common types:

1. The Nollywood movies and soap operas enthusiast

This mboch can’t keep her hands off the remote control. She spends all day watching ‘Oga’ movies and Mexican telenovelas instead of working. She’s the reason KPLC keeps making huge profits. She’s so good at television arts that she can predict what’s going to happen next. She’ll say “Aki Alehandro atakiss Marimar. Sikudaganyi. Ngoja tu five minutes uone.” Five minutes later…Boom! It happens. As a result of her screen addiction, most of her chores are done late. Probably during the last two hours before the owner of the house arrives.

2. The ‘Moshene Monger’

This is the maid whose mouth keeps firing from all cylinders. She plays the role of detective and media at the same time. She digs out info about ‘mama so and so’ then she rushes to tell her fellow monger who in turn formulates a hypothesis before adding information about ‘baba so and so’. What results is a mega story that could crush TMZ’s website! It’s crazy.

3. The ‘part of the family’ mboch

She does her work so well all the time that as a result, she is treated as part of the family. She never annoys her employers and always makes sure all their needs are met in good time. The kids love to see her too and are ever excited when she goes to pick them from school. They love playing with her as well. God bless this mboch.

4. The future resident of heaven

This one is so holy, she has probably booked herself a bedsitter in heaven already and paid the deposit. Gospel songs are her thing and she still buys Rose Muhando’s ringtones at 30 bob. Her favorite hobby is wrestling with the kids for the TV’s remote control when they want to watch cartoons and she wants to watch the scratch filled gospel CD her church suitor gave her.

5. The mboch that can’t keep up with town life

The city moves too fast for her. She can’t keep up with all the technology and the rush. She is used to the quiet rural life and as a result she keeps making all kinds of blunders. This is also the mboch who despite staying in Nairobi for a couple of years has been unable to ditch her ethnic accent. When she talks, you feel like laughing but then you remember that being mean is not cool at all.

6. The mboch that does sinister things whenever the employers are away

This type of maid is fond of mischief. Whenever she is left alone at the home, she finds it appropriate to try on her madam’s clothes or bring her boyfriends over. The saying ‘when the cat is away, the mouse will play’ was clearly created for her. Unfortunately, she’s the type that gets fired wherever she goes.

7. The mboch from hell

This is the mboch who acts like satan himself.  She will beat and bully the kids when their parents are away, refuse to feed the baby or even eat the baby’s food. This is the mboch we all dread to have. She probably hates her life so much that she directs all her anger and bad energy towards the child. This mboch, has a special corner preserved for her in hell…

The third years of Moi University-Main Campus have expressed there fury about the co-option of 3rd year representative in the student guild, MUSO 2016/17.

On Monday 10th October 2016, 3rd years representatives assembled in front of the student centre to chat the way forward before meeting at the Dean of Students office. They presented three letters that called for nullification of the co-option of a 3rd year MUSO representative, that MUSO elections to be held on February or March next year and/or stopping the process of electing or appointing a 3rd year guild representative.

The Letter demanding the nullification of the 3rd year co-option to MUSO had the reasons that; first, it could catalyze and propel discord among the third years and that it was driven by personal gains by specific leaders, another reason indicated was that it might fuel tribalism leading to MUSO funds mismanagement.

The other letters called for nullification of the co-option post and amendment of the MUSO constitution citing that only comrades consulted were below a percentage of 95%, the process is meant about community and not on the interest of comrades, the process of coopting of a 3rd year representative is an idea build on fishy foundation. It cited that the student guild is build on leadership rather than appointments and representation.

Citing the constitution, the students said that MUSO is a platform of preparing young leaders for future and outside leadership and that there must be a well defined platform in the constitution for the same cooption.

The letters also stated on altering of the supreme students document, the constitution, addressing that every student is a member and subscriber of MUSO and that the sacrificing a section of students denies them a chance to vote one of their own leaders. The issue of amending the constitution for early elections is to remove the co-option post regarded as unconstitutional.

Addressing the matter, the dean of students Prof. J. S. Ayieko termed the co-option void. The students demanded for a MEMO to officially communicate the development. The dean assured the students telling them that there will be a sitting over the weekend to look into the issues in details.

"We will be having a meeting over the weekend and look into the details especially the alteration of the MUSO constitution to give room for fully representation of the 3rd years," the dean said.

On the other side, the MUSO Editor-in-Chief, Private Socrates, was attacked and his eye glasses nearly destroyed by the said students. He was termed and identified as the symbol of disunity and division among the third years students.

The editor in chief had to run for dear life into the hands of the security police who came to settle the scuffle.

Prof. Kindiki, the dean of school of education gave hope of amending the MUSO constitution to be all inclusive.

"We will draft the constitution and the draft given to the Moi fraternity to go through it," Prof. Kindiki gave hope.

Lawrence Mwombo, a 3rd year student representative before handing the letters addressing the grievances, thanked the acting VC Prof. Laban Ayiro for the visionary change and his dream of Moi as one of the leading institutions of higher learning. The VC had promised the review of marks to end the missing marks "blackout", contraction of roofs on all pavements connecting main buildings in the institution, boost security through floodlights installation and renovation of hostels especially the dangling electrical wires inside hall of residence rooms.

The deputy vice chancellor in charge of students affairs, Prof. Ogechi promised a quick action will be taken to restore students confidence.
