KIBAKI IN PUBLIC APPEARANCE AFTER NECK SURGERY

After undergoing a neck surgery  in a South African hospital, retired president Mwai Kibaki is now fully recovered if his first public appearance since he came out of hospital is anything to go by.

Kibaki today Sunday, September 25  attended mass at the Consolata Shrine in Westlands, Nairobi and he looked all well.

Kibaki attended the 12 o'clock mass, his first ever Sunday church outing since he was admitted at Netcare Sunninghill Hospital in Johannesburg South Africa.

He was admitted to the hospital on Thursday, August 25 after he fell ill while at his Muthaiga home.

Kibaki was first rushed to a local hospital before being flown out to South Africa where he was operated on his neck to remove a blood clot in an artery.

Kibaki was in the high-end health facility for one week before he was given a clean bill of health and allowed to go home.

But he spent an extra week in South Africa so as to recover fully during which only close family members were allowed to be near him.

Kibaki was operated on his neck to remove a blood clot in an artery.
The president  has been suffering ill heath and his sickness on August was his third stroke.
