SOUTH KOREA:Geun-hye forced to explain why she bought sex pills when visiting Kenya

South Korean President Park Geun-hye is currently under the spotlight for the purchase of hundreds of sex enhancing pills when she visited Kenya.

Geun-hye visited Nairobi in May to boost trade and strengthen ties with Kenya but it is understood that she came along with some sex enhancing pills.

She was in Kenya for a three-day visit which saw her travel with close to 200 people, including government officials and businessmen.

Park's office said the pills were bought to potentially treat altitude sickness for presidential aides and employees on Park's May trips to Ethiopia, Uganda and Kenya, whose capitals are 1 to 2 kilometers (0.6 to 1.2 miles) above sea level, Daily Mail reports.

None of the pills was however used in the trips according to reports.

In her Kenyan visit, Geun-hye signed seven trade agreements towards improvement of health, education, energy, ICT and industrialization sectors.

The controversy puts Geun-hye in a worse situation as she prepares to face impeachment push by opposition parties and some members of her own Saenuri Party amid allegations that she let a secretive confidante manipulate government affairs and amass illegal property and wealth.

Watch the protests going on in South Korea currently aiming to force Park to resign.
