After the long waited “real wedding” Akothee ended up unexpectedly cancelling it. The wedding which was supposed to be held on 5th November was cancelled on the eve of the D-day. She texted the friends and relatives who she had invited and informed them of the cancellation. Afterwards she made it clear At ” The Trend” with Larry Madowo that a man cannot control her life, and her career comes first saying “I have got so much on my hands, I come first. A man does’nt give me conditions.” This came after the man complained that the music was taking much of her time. For the fans, friends and relatives this came as a shock and disappointment for they had eagerly waited for it. What an embarassment to the mzungu man she was supposed to wed??!!!
