The Eerobond Jamboree

Much has been said about the lavish looting of the Eurobond money that had sparked tension upon the political landscape but little or nothing at all has been soliloquized about the origin of the Eurobond idea. I have therefore taken up the mantle to let the cat out of the bag so that some of the comrades are not left in darkness spreading propaganda about the surveying bond.
It has now emerged that the former British Prime Minister Tony Blair who is paid hundreds of millions for 'advising' President Uhuru Kenyatta on governance and 'service delivery' may be knee-deep in the Eurobond scandal. Mr. Blair who secured his top assignment for Uhuru in 2014 had earlier approached the coalition government but both Kibaki and Raila dismissed his service as useless with no meaningful value to Kenyan Taxpayers.
First, Mr. Blair approached Mr. Odinga to set up a 'delivery unit' for the grand coalition government. In the middle of his presentation, Mr. Odinga, the ever intelligent man, ‘dozed off’. He woke up just before Mr. Blair closed up the PowerPoint show and said he would look into it. That was the end of it. Second, Mr. Blair moved and pitched the same idea to Kibaki who, knowing Raila had rebuffed him also became hesitant to work with Mr. Blair. Hence, Blair never got a chance to see the dream of his 'delivery unit' achieved in Kenya during the coalition government.
Blair hanged around until an opportunity came with the election of President Uhuru and his deputy Ruto in 2013.The duo started their rule with an international reputational baggage: the two were already confirmed crimes against humanity suspects. Uhuru, therefore, needed international acceptance and recognition while Blair needed business-the kind that would give him the sort of money he had promised his wife Cherie. Moreover, he also needed to finally extract 'revenge' from Raila and Kibaki.
He approached Uluru’s men and soon was hobnobbing with Uhuru; a man who had run a successful anti-west hatemongering campaign ever witnessed in the post-independent Kenya. As usual, Uluru’s supporters chew cud as they watched the unraveling of a western puppet right away in their eyes. And the last four years, we have witnessed the rule of a man so dark in his skin and so white paper in his priorities.

Blair through his African Governance Initiative (AGI) got to set his presidential delivery unit for Uhuru, complete with white staff and white mannerisms. Uhuru got to globe trot the West, showed up his 'criminal' image and something more. Blair also acted as the poster boy for JP Morgan, the US bank at center of the Eurobond money-laundering. Jamboree hit the road.
As we fought to get our money back, Blair and his advisers did all they could to make what is perhaps the biggest scam since the sham trial of Dedan Kimathi passed away quietly in Kenya? However, to date, no single MP has ever questioned in parliament how much, followed by what value, we received from the AGI fakery. Blair continues to hobnob with Uhuru and Uhuru continues to subdue the earth and the spectacle continues to unravel right in front of us, week after week, trip after trip.
The extent of Blair's dealings with despots and corrupt rulers is mind boggling. The campaign to kick him out of Kenya should have started long time ago.
